Kadima is the middle school age affiliate of United Synagogue Youth and The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Kadima is Hebrew for "forward." Park synagogue Kadima is our youth group for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Kadima events are both philanthropic and social in nature and are usually held once a month. Past Kadima events include rock-n-bowl, skiing at Brandywine, visiting the Hebrew Shelter Home, spending time with residents of Menorah Park, rollerskating, and Kadima Kinnus. Once a year, Kadimaniks convene at a weekend long convention called Kadima Kinnus. Children from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia and Western Pennsylvania gather for a weekend of fun, friendship and Judaism. This year Kadima has gone Rock Climbing, built a Sukkah at an Assisted Living Facility and has been involved in Passover projects at Hands on Pottery. Please feel free to e-mail Alana Teichman, our Youth Director at alanaka@gmail.com.
